Gerald Hawkins

Gerald Hawkins (20 April 1928 – 26 May 2003) argued in Stonehenge Decoded (1965) that the stones marked solar and lunar extremes. The further claim that the monument was a Neolithic eclipse computer is a contested reading, not a finding.
